Assassins Quest

Chess is known as a game where opponents face each other with the same number of pieces. Each player gets a queen, which is especially powerful – its abilities are like those of an assassin, able to move stealthily across the entire board.

We asked ourselves: who would win if several such assassins faced a larger number of regular pieces? Based on this question, we developed the chess variant “Assassin Quest.”

In the “Assassin Quest” missions of the ChessMissions app, your goal is to take down the opponent’s king with a squad of queens, the assassins. You’ll need to make optimal use of their abilities and combine them as a team. You probably won’t manage to capture all of your opponent’s pieces, but that’s no problem – as long as you achieve your mission: assassinating the opposing king.
